It gets me a day off from school tomorrow :kickass:

I think tomorrow I will:

Sort my downloads folder out (over 500 albums to sort .__.)
Listen to my recent shitload of crossover
then take a walk while listening to The Mantle

:) It'll be a nice simple laidback day!

Fuck yeah, snow rules!

A day off of school tomorrow and an extra day of school at the end of the year.

We got like a foot of snow this afternoon alone. Though I don't think my workplace is like schools...I'd be surprised if I had a day off because of the weather.

You guys are much more readily prepared to handle significant quantities of snow. The schools in my area closed down one day last week for < 1" of a snow/ice mix which fell the night before.

We get 2 allowed snowdays off anyways, but aside from that seniors are not affected by the missed days. We will get out of school on May 30th and Graduate on June 7th no matter what.

My school district will stop at nothing to keep the schools open. It takes an ice storm that kills 10 and leaves 80,000 people powerless for them to close.

I guess it's good that we never have to make up days of school, but there are some days where I fucking need a day off without missing work.

Last year we only canceled school twice because of two days in a row with like -20 degree w/ windchill weather.

Went to Flagstaff this weekend, so we got to play in some snow. It was cold, especially when you get a bunch of it shoveled into your face. I could not believe how that felt. It was fluffy, but did not stick together well for snowballs. So it was like fine frozen snow powder being blasted at your face and sticking to your face and head and freezing your brain. It hurt.

I wonder if I will have school tomorrow. Last time they didn't cancel school once of the buses got into an accident.

Same. I really hope for a day off tomorrow, though. I need it, oh man. I've been so swamped lately.

I've only experienced snow two times in my life. It really wasn't that amazing.
