Funeral Music

definately Epilogue or Harvest

Harvest has lyrics that fit:
"Wilted scenes for us who couldn't wait..."

"Mourner's lament but it's me who's the martyr"

I don't think distortion would sound good in a
church, btw :)

I agree with these songs, but it would be a nice experience to listen to distorted sound in a church ;)

Fine funeral songs are also "To bid you farewell" and Fade to Black/Orion by Metallica

One of those:

° Shape of Despair - "Shadowed Dreams"
° Tiamat -"Gaia"
° Saviour Machine - "Ceremony"
° My Dying Bride - "The Cry of Mankind"
° My Dying Bride - "The Light at the End of the World"
° Samael - "Static Journey"

epilogue
gnr - november rain (what?)
katatonia - funeral wedding
november's doom - aura blue, silent tomorrow (dark edit)

good question... I think I'd choose 'Harvest', or maybe the first part of 'The Cry Of Mankind' looped indefinitedly to create a sense of anguish in the crowd attending to my funeral...

Hmmmm, probably "The Somberlain" by Dissection, maybe Edge of Sanity's "The Masque". Or, if I died violently, like in a war or something, "The Final Silence" by Unleashed, "Forever Fallen" by Bolt Thrower, or "The Blood of My Enemies" by Manowar.
