Your first problem was you bought a game combining DC and MK. That was entirely your fault.

Last MK game I played was Deadly Alliance, and I had a lot of fun with it. I'm looking forward to this one because it is essentially supposed to be a faster and prettier version of MKII. I know they are playing the whole "Raiden/Shao Kahn going back in time to change the course of the world" thing, but it is taking place right after MKI - that means there Scorpion is still a vengeful fucking badass who protects nobody, Subzero (the real one) has now risen from the death and is killing everything too, and Reptile actually looks fucking badass for once (considering his general look since MK4, I couldn't be happier.

Yeah, I d/l'd. Works fine. I'm playing hardcore mode on hard difficulty and it makes it slightly more immersive, but even on those settings the game isn't all that hard. I like that the new weapons, a much greater variety of guns this time. The game is pretty playable as a straight shooter without VATS. Some of the new wildlife is incredibly annoying, though. The idea of a gang of Elvis impersonators called The Kings is fucking awesome.

@ The Kings. Is it really buggy for you? I've seen a lot of mixed responses from different people, I just hope it'll run pretty decently for me. Got 15 hours left until it finishes... Unless it speeds up, but I work tomorrow anyways, so fuck.

Started playing the Vindictus open beta. It's pretty fun but the combat is real repetative.

My graphics card is pretty shit anyways so I don't mind, I'm just glad it works good, I haven't had any bugs or crashes at all, but I've only played a couple hours. Really enjoying it all though.

Anyone playing Fallout: New Vegas? So far, pretty good but sort of exactly like Fallout 3 only more countryish.

It's pretty cool so far in my experience. My only qualms are pretty small. Like you mentioned, the game is pretty easy and unlike the previous Fallout I do not find the main story too appealing. Still a lot of good fun to be had...besides having to listen to the voice actors pronounce Caesar 30 different ways. I mean was it that hard just to get all the voice talent to agree on one way to say it? Is it going to be Caesar or Kayzar....

Okay, so I'll doing the smart thing be getting my new PC after my exams. To be exact, about the 23rd or 24th of November. Any games I should purchase right off the bat? Definitely looking at Fallout New Vegas and quite possibly COD: Black Ops.

These two IMO. And Minecraft after Valve gets support behind the creator. Good game now, will be a great game once he gets an art team behind it and some additional features.

Portal 2 looks like it's gonna be pretty sick.

I've got Starcraft 2 and Team Fortress 2, I'll just have to reinstall them. I'm stupid to not have checked out Mass Effect 2 ever, so I'll probably be spending abit of time on that.

Definitely will get Diablo III when the bloody thing comes out, the Demon Hunter class looks awesome. When is Guild Wars 2 and Portal 2 due?

The Mass Effect games are some of the best recent games imo. It's worth playing through ME1 first because of the plot and your character can carry over and stuffs. Fallout New Vegas is fun but not exactly gonna do your comp justice, pretty dated visually. ME2 looks fucking sharp. Also, play Crysis if you never have just to justify the computer to yourself.

I've played ME1 and completed it on the Xbox 360 yonks ago. Fucking brilliant game, I just never got around to playing the sequel for some reason. Don't think I'll be able to transfer an xbox character onto the pc. Ah well.

Ah. Sequel is better imo. Transferring the character is really cool and it's sad that you won't be able to, adds a genuine sense of continuity.

The new Undead Nightmare DLC for Red Dead Redemption looks incredible. Definitely downloading soon.
