It doesn't make sense, none of this is in the lore.

The Nords (along with the Orcs) invaded Morrowind which forced the Dunmer to unite with the Dwemer to drive them out. And Argonians have been Dunmer slaves since ancient Telvaanni says.

The Aldmeri Dominion faction makes perfect sense, since they're all elves.

The Daggerfall faction also makes sense, since those provinces are close together, and Orsinium is in High Rock.

The best and worst part of this is that the Tribunal will still be alive. But Vivec without Michael Kirkbride isn't Vivec at all.

It's a weekend so this round closes in 72 hours.

Since I already paid for TW2 when it was first released, I wasn't going to pay for it again due to a screw up when two services merged (note: Always use Steam when you can...), so I just downloaded the EE version. The intro is pretty cool too. Unless my memory is just that bad, the entire Letho opening is new.

Stormo: Did you catch the easter egg around the ballista in the barricade section at the start?

Oh, and the difficulty is uh...way lower than it was when the game was first released. Hard feels like normal now. One change that I agree with though is the ability to hit multiple targets that are actually in the path of your sword. You could not do this initially (you literally had to attack every enemy one at a time), and had to wait until you unlocked the talent from the sword tree, which was like level 8 or something. That change alone, made one of the most difficult fights in the very beginning laughably easy. That skill was relatively mandatory, but this change makes it so you don't have to dump points into the sword tree early on if you don't want to.
