the color is nice, but it’s the lack of contrast between the image and the logo/text that bogged me a little bit. nothing is standing out since it’s all the same color. but it’s still pretty nice! and yes, some metallic ink would be really sweet...

It should have just been a still frame from Lamentations of the inside of mikaels nostrils. i cant get enough of those shots...

Oh, THANK THE HEAVENS the Opeth logo and title are NOT white. That would have seriously sucked. The colour is great, but should have been slightly whiter (like the version I had) - like have it be in this colour, but not completely white which would OVERPOWER the cover. White and black is so boring.

Remember still life's? Pretty yellowish in tone, but a nice soft yellow. But yeah, if it will feature metallic ink then that would be sheer brilliance as far as artistic touch goes. Having the words shimmering would be a very nice touch. If not, I would suggest a nice backdrop touch in somethlng that was done with still life (black drop shadow) or BWP (white drop shadow).

I said this before, but now with all the layout in place, etc. this is definitely, EASILY, the best opeth album cover yet.
Shit, the font for "Ghost Reveries" is absolutely beautiful. Hell yeah these guys have good taste
