GMD Poll: Top 10 Metal Albums of 1983

In terms of metal history his top two really are the winners here. But yeah it's sort of more interesting if things are less black and white and people vote based on their own tastes and not what is historically most important

How? Europe was just as historically important, and arguably it was an even more novel album being that hardcore may have eventually ended up creating thrash without metal. Europe's S/T is a landmark power metal album.

we have 25 lots of votes, and a couple people said they weren't participating (plus @Elric of Melniboné and @Sword of Kalki have vanished). still haven't heard anything from @Serjeant Grumbles or @I-TEND-TO-DIE i don't think - i'm assuming they aren't interested - other than that it's just you. i'd like to do the results sunday if possible as i have a busy week after that.
