1. Mortuary Drape - All the Witches Dance

2-10 will come later on when I decide on the order.

good to see this album getting plenty of votes, thought it was lesser known than it is

I’d try Into the Drape, All the Witches Dance and Tolling 13 Knell before you write them off. All better than the album you mentioned imo.

I will NEVER get the Mortuary Drape love either. I got Sudakria Whatever and I would love to sell it for $40 or whatever I was offered.

Between this and you not thinking that Nordkarpatenland was very good, I'm starting to think that you hate black metal with good guitar riffs.

Besides, you seemingly haven't heard All the Witches Dance. Maybe that has something to do with you not understanding why people like it.

I have heard All the Witches Dance. If it was as good as everyone says, I'd remember more from it. I'm going to take a long shower here so I'll give it another chance.

And no, I love black metal with good riffs.

I can't imagine anyone who actually likes guitar riffs and black metal thinking that Mortuary Drape was forgettable.

Listened to it and nothing has changed my opinion on it. Forgettable is a bit harsh, but it certainly isn't close to top 10 worthy considering you have stuff like Burzum and Mayhem to contend with. It was good, but the "spooky" atmosphere and the style just fails to excite me these days.

Added Sodom to the list. Forgot they put out a pretty solid album that year.

1. Morta Skuld - As Humanity Fades
2. Aftermath - Eyes of Tomorrow
3. Sodom - Get What You Deserve
4. Megadeth - Youthanasia
5. Obituary - World Demise
6. Gomorrah - Reflections of Inanimate Matter
7. Shah - P.S.I.H.O.
8. Phossatery - Obscure Feelings
9. Headhunter - Rebirth
10. Chemical Breath - Values

Something like that. Might change some stuff and add honorable mentions later.
