Since I was driving cross country the past month I found I mostly wanted to listen to upbeat, high energy music, so I haven't relistened to nearly as much of these as I would like to, especially the black and death metal albums. I'm gonna try and give them a relisten this weekend, because I'm not nearly as confident in the order as I usually am. The Mantle is a lock for #1 though. One of the greatest albums ever, in any genre.

Yeah, as I’m going through and relistening to these today, Unholy Cult is moving up at least one spot. What a beast of an album. I forgot just how great it is.

Also forgot about Memory and Destiny by Graveland. This is actually a really deep year.
