GNMD Poll: Top Ten Albums of 1990

Discovered via your post in the Badass Rap thread. Not quite a source of fav tracks or anything, but quality entertainment nevertheless!

Let's not forget that this year saw the release of one of the greatest albums in Badbutt Rap. I think you know to whom I refer, as you can see he's right there on the OP.

Updated list.

I don't check my alerts btw, it's purely luck that I decided to read the thread this time.

What a fucking year for metal, god damn. Not great otherwise, in my opinion; kind of a random assemblage for me:

1. Mark Lanegan--The Winding Sheet
2. Alice in Chains--Facelift
3. Dead Can Dance--Aion
4. Eric Johnson--Ah Via Musicom
5. William S. Burroughs--Dead City Radio (fuck ya, hip hop for white boyz :D)
6. Uncle Tupelo--No Depression
7. Lustmord--Heresy
8. Shankar and Glass--Passages

1. John Carpenter - Christine
2. Fields of the Nephilim - Elizium
3. Sol Invictus - Trees In Winter
4. Ride - Nowhere
5. Joe Renzetti - Basket Case 2
6. Poison Idea - Feel the Darkness
7. Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds - The Good Son
8. Dead Can Dance - Aion
9. Sonic Youth - Goo
10. Bad Religion - Against the Grain

If tagging you didn't give you an alert, I wonder if it worked for anyone else.

I've seen one that didn't work on me and suspected it only notified the first 5 users based on what I've seen on other forums. Apparently there's a user permission setting called "maximum mention alerts per message". @MetalAges, you might like to increase it for the benefit of these threads.

I feel like this comes up every time, and every time I forget what the verdict is.

Personally speaking, I think AiC is fair game here. There are certainly metal influences, but they're not metal.
