Got a question for the band?

I can tell you about one, but he doesn't get embarressed that easily. :D

I love to hear stuff like that. Tell me. Tell me!! I have one, and I already said it somewhere around here. :)

Now, I just read an interview (press conference) that someone made a thread about. AH HA!

Quote:

Q - For Warrel. I know that you have started writing a book about the concept of “Dreaming Neon Black”.

Dane - Yeah, I quit, because it wasn’t worthing... It was far too ambitious for my feeble mind!

------------------------------------------------------------------

Excuse me? Feeble mind? I understand that everyone is their own worst critic, their own worst enemy.....but could you clarify what wasn't working? Too "ambitious for my feeble mind?" Is there something that you would consider writing a book about?

Side projects: Who else in Nevermore has contemplated a side project? And related....

Who would you love to work with?

no, he didn't (astonishingly, he didn't! :guh: )

Uregis, can't PM you, cuz you don't want anybody to write you in any kinda way but in public.

will you answer all this questions?
will you answer this question?
will you re-realease EOR with better production?
would you make heavier and more progressive metal?, please?

Warrel: Will you come to Sacramento? Ever? If not, why?
Loomis: Would you get angry if someone called you "Fruit Of The Loomis"?
Entire Band: Hows it up there in Seattle? I havent been there since 1999....

I've heard that Mr. Loomis doesn't like the people who post random crap on this forum and all that, but I was hoping maybe you could get him to answer a serious question for me. I was wondering what kind of modes/sweeping patterns he uses to get that ultra-badass sound on his solos and leads. A lot of his sweeps sound very diminished and a little bit of it sounds like the melodic minor to me but I really don't know. This would be one kick-ass favor and I would be forever indebted to you if you could hook me up with this info if at all possible.

Will the band come to my house and play? If not, why? Its a perfectly reasonable request if you ask me... Also, i want more info on the equipment and set ups that Jeff uses, and i want jeff to give me that equipment, thank you.

question to Jeff-

Ever plan on making a tab book for any of the albums?

dammit, i was going to ask that! but seriously, i want to know too, please let the answer be yes!

For a limited Edition of Wages of Sin, Arch Enemy included a bonus cd with all the rarites/b-sides they've done. Stratovarius did this by releasing Intermission. Iron Maiden did the same thing but their's was a lot bigger (hehe). Metallica did it with Garage Inc. Megadeth did it with Hidden Treasures. Is this something that is up for consideration with Nevermore? There are a few limited-edition bonus tracks on the albums. There's also a few of the Sanctuary demos out there, as well, but I think songwriting credit and dealing with Epic records would get in the way of that.
----------------------
Both Sanctuary stuido albums are moderately easy to find in stores, yet Into the Mirror Live isn't. Any particular reason why? Was it on a different label?
----------------------
When will we get to hear Nevermore do a Doors cover? :D
----------------------
Any of the bandmembers planning on releasing a book, whether it be a cookbook (Metal Meatballs!!), fiction, biographical, etc...
----------------------
How about a Kings of Metal tour with Iced Earth and Savatage? :D
----------------------
Speaking of which...Jon Schaffer said that the Something Wicked concept is his "dream album" that he would have to concentrate all of his energy on to make. Svatage have stated that this new album coming out with Damond will be their Make-or-break album. Does Nevermore have a dream album that's slowly but surely being thought of or is each album a mood-of-the-moment/direction-of-the-moment album?

This was one of the original blueprints of Enemies of Reality:
01. The Story Of Our End
02. Who Decides
03. The Song Of The Solemn One
04. Enemies Of Reality
05. Psychotic Intellectual Narcotic
06. Tomorrow Turned Into Yesterday
07. Abomination

What happened to these songs (name changes, scrapped/shelved for later use)?
-----------------------
What makes the Heavy Metal business difficult for you? It's one thing if you're one of these pop artists and your private life is made impossible, but what of an underground band such as Nevermore? Warrel did state that to survie in this business you REALLY have to like what you're doing. What did you learn after the semi-mistake of being signed by Epic at an early age?

Don't you guys just hate getting asked about the same thing over and over and over again? :D
