Can the latest guitar pro do polymeters properly?

i.e. One instrument is laid out in 4/4 and the other in 7/8?

Guitar pro 5 seems reluctant, changing ALL instruments to one timing, either I'm doing something wrong or they didn't implement it in the previous version.

Any idea guys?

I'm not a user, but couldn't you just tab out, say the 4/4 instrument normally, then for the 7/8 one just tab in double time?

Nope, I've been asking for it since gp5. Make some posts on their support pages and fb to show support for them adding it in.

double time 7/8 isn't the same as 4/4?

7/8 is an odd time signature
