Slave to the Grind is one of my favourite ever records. The songs are heavy as hell, and have absolutely killer riffs and hooks, and Seb Bach's vocals on this record are as good as anyone's ever in rock/metal imo. It was also my first ever physical CD purchase.

Hell yeah, loved the first Skid Row album, Slave to the Grind was even better and heavier. :kickass:

sadly in the late 90's/early 2000's hair metal made a slight comeback but could have been bigger. questionable choices by record labels and bands like motley crue, poison, dokken, ratt and warrant pretty much ended the very brief comeback hair metal had. bands also changing styles in the mid 90's helped end the genre as well.

poison and capitol records really dropped the ball though and they had the most momentum at the end of the 90's and poor choices really brought any new music by hair metal artists being a commercial force crashing down.
