Happy 2002 to all of you. Here's hoping this will be a better year. I went out and partied some on New Year's Eve. Didn't drink, but had a blast. It was indeed a great way to ring in 2002.

Maybe some good bands... But there could have been more! I'm not that impressed. So that's the final and entire list? Hmm... Maybe I will do with the Inferno festival after all. I'd save some money, then... Money I can use on CD's of better bands!
Well, maybe I change my mind later, but for now, I don't plan to go.

No it's not the final list! It's almost the 3rd of it, more bands will be follow! I know Borknagar and Angel Dust will be playing too, Axxis maybe..., hopefully Lefay and Evergrey too...

Well... If you look at last year, there were NO bands booked at this thime of the year... So considering that there will be MANY more reasons to go there...
I mean, Amon Amarth, Blind Guardian, Children Of Bodom, Hypocrisy, Blaze, Destruction, Kreator and Green Carnation alone would make me go there, and since there will be _loads_ of more bands... There´s no need to save your money!

Wacken sounds killer, Amon Amarth, Blind Guardian, and CoB are enough to get me there hehe.

Wow! It must be nice to be able to just dismiss a concert of this caliber. Here in the USA we would be happy to be able to see just 2 of those bands! You don't know how lucky you are to live in Europe, the US is a Metal wasteland.

The fesivals overseas always seem to be better than the ones here, but I did get lucky and got to see the X-Mass Fest in Holland last year. I had a blast!

At the Wacken site there is a forum where you can post questions to the Wacken staff, when fans ask about Borknagar the staff stated that they will play! I hope so...
About festivals in the US, I got told that the Prog Power is a fantastic festival and all bands I've talked about this festival, who have played there enjoyed it too! That's a very good thing, if both, bands and fans are satisfied!!!
Then there is the US version of Bang Your Head, think it's in Houston, Texas
How about organizing an festival in the US yourself?
I'll be at wacken once again....I think I just got addicted since travelling more than 3000 km (don't know the miles ) is not the kindest thing to do!!!!
