How well liked are this band around here? Seem to receive quite a lot of hype elsewhere. Surely would have been an RC favourite if they'd existed back in the day.

Obvious/lazy comparison is Moonsorrow at their blackest.

Really like the first album. Not so much the second one, which is still solid but seems a bit too intent on performance.

I bought a LP copy of their new album and received it at my work address about a month ago. Still haven't cared enough to take it home. I did stream it a few times and it's excellent overall. Not sure how it'll hold up in terms of replay, but we will see..
