HEADPHONES!!!!

AKG yes, and Beyer Dynamic and Sennheiser, if you buy phonez from any of these companies for about $100 you're not going to go wrong, pretty much...

I've never gotten a chance to try out grado's, but yes the Sennheisers do seem to be universally loved, and if you're looking for under $100....

Sennheiser 280 pro

they are fantastic.

its really up to you, what style you prefer. as posted earlier in the thread, http://headphone.com/ , this site was incredibly helpful for me when I was learning about headphones, its helped me narrow down exactly what i was looking for.

edit: also depending on the surroundings, open style- the sound bleeds out, so better sound yes, but at the expense of privacy

Well, I just won, with shipping it comes out to 86 beaners.

Good old MDR-V150s, best cheap headphones EVER. Great frequency response for the price, although the lows are a bit iffy.

Anybody familiar with this pair of headphones?

I want a decent compact set for gym going, a bulky pair of Sennheiser HD280s is much too cumbersome. I'm currently using a set of Sony clip on's, which are durable as fuck, but due to the way they are placed on the ear, much of the sound escapes, as there's no pressure keeping it firmly pressed on the lobe.

I know this has been brought up before but there is no search function here at good 'ol UM, soooo.... I am in the market, once again, for a good pair of headphones. The MOST I will pay is $100, on the extreme end. I want some amazing sound quality; rumbling lows and clear highs. Any savants in the topic have any input???

:erk:

Looking for OTE, not IEM, LMNOP

Very close to purchasing the Senn PX100 IIs

New version of these

The newer ver. seems to be a decent upgrade, yet people still bitch and give negative feedback. Dipshits.
