I understand how some may be upset about the lack of a Showcase, but in the end if you want to see ProgPower continue as a success this event will truly help. ProgPower will help fill seats for the Helloween night and the Helloween night will help advertise ProgPower to those unfamiliar with it. I'm sure this factored in, especially for Helloween. They had to cancel their last tour, so I'm curious to see what venues they play in addition to the Thursday show. They are used to making money on their tours and they won't run the usual tour small venue through the US risking to play in front of 100-200 people. Excellent move all around. If it helps ProgPower in Glenn's eyes, then I believe and I support!

This will not just help Glenn with ProgPower, this will help going NATIONAL! Remember, they were having problems in certain locales with CM and CIIC because few knew who Glenn Harveston was. Now, being the first to land a show of this magnitude helps Glenn and Hoyt LONG TERM on a National level. This will give them added street cred when dealing with venues in places like NYC, Chicago and Philly. So, Glenn would have been a fool to give this up.

Hi folks. I just saw Helloween for the first time last night. Was their first time to Australia. I wasnt expecting a whole lot as i haven't really followed them since the Better than Raw album, but damn they were good. Good mixture of tunes, sound was great. Im impressed. Should be a good thurs night for everyone this year.
