Hey. My name is Tim AKA Mr. Honest. I like to believe I have some pretty decent knowledge when it comes to metal. My favorite band is Trivium. I get a lot of shit for it, but I make up for it by listening to many other amazing bands. My favorite genre is black metal. Well, that's pretty much it. I'm a pretty cool/funny guy once you get to know me.

I liked them before I heard 90% of the bands I listen to today. I'm not just gonna be like "YEAH THEY SUCK" like most other people who used to like shit like Trivium or Slipknot. I still like them and I probably will for a long time.

not really. There are a lot of bands i still listen to from when i was growing up. I'm not ashamed to say that I may have had bad taste in music at one point, but at the same time, I'm not just going to quit liking it because the majority doesn't.

Trivium are just unlucky to be one of those bands that its cool to hate.
Fuck it man if a song is a good song its a good song, no matter who wrote it.

I've not heard much of Shogun but I could honestly say I prefer there older material over what I have heard.
