How is COB live?

I just wonder how COB is as a live band, never seen them on stage, do they get the people going? electric? goosebumps and hardons? lots of women flashing? alcohol backstage?
Whats the best part with them Live? is it worth a 300KM trip just to go see them?

well when i saw them at the Unholly alliance tour, it wasn't that great. alexi seemed pretty fucked up. in fact my friend actually ran backstage before bodom went on and she saw alexi gulping down from a bottle of jack and he was smoking too (weed, obviously). and when they went on, i was really excited, i was shouting a lot and they did have a lot of fans there, but there wasn't any flashing or anything. some guy threw a beer at alexi onstage though, so that kinda sucked. and laiho wammied some of his solos instead of playing so i mean, when i saw them, it was a big deal to me cuz their my fav. band, but overall, they didn't put on the best performance.

Well, I can't talk about this matter cause I've never had the luck to see CoB live so far... I only saw some their videos, where they seemed just amazing...
Then they were here in Milan, the 22nd on october, but I had problems so I had to renounce to see them...
But I wish to see them soon, and that they'll play good.... I don't say near flawless, but at least good...

Dude, travelling 300KM is the NORMAL distance I go to see them (and most other concerts)... and in Demcember I have to go like 600-700KM. Stop whining. I real fan wouldn't bitch, he'd buy his tickets, go and find out for himself. Scratch that... a real fan wouldn't have any doubts.

And as for chicks flashing, ionna what kinda concerts you've been to, but that generally has never happened at any I've went to. If seeing boobs over seeing CoB is that important to you, go download some porn.

Aw well I'm sorry you missed them But trust me, people here are too judgemental and retarded. CoB was AMAZING when I saw them last... Everytime I Die wasn't so great at first, but everything else was amazing. Seeing 'Chokehold' live was a GREAT experience. So don't listen to anyone, CoB rocks live. End of story.

There's nothing wrong with a little Mary Jane now and again. But I'd never drink (excessively) or smoke before a gig though - I'd want my performance to be 100%. You could say I take the "John Petrucci, music is a sport" approach toward a live performance, as Alexi put it. There are other ways of entertaining an audience than flailing about on stage like a chimpanzee on crack.

Fucks up every solo? Really? Go see his interview on YouTube, quote Laiho "I know my speedlimits. When I started playing guitar, I tried to play everythin as fast as possible, and it sounded like crap. Now when I play slower stuff, and things that I'm capable of playing, I sound a lot better."
