How many engineers here?

+1 Yeah!!! Electrical or electronics give you a very solid base if in the future you want to study audio.

Well, thank you for supporting to learn electrical engineering:) Actually i'm learning in an electronic related secondary school,so i've got the basics, i think.
I'm making the final exam in this year. then i'll definitely try the university.
We'll see what will happen :)

halleluja einheits-ects-system lol...machen alle unis was sie wollen.
und dann wundern sich die leute dass die unis besetzt sind

Mechanical Engineer here, current job is Project Engineer at a racking company in the Netherlands.

This is what I design, calculate and draw.

I'm not trying to rain on your parade, dude... but I'm stumped trying to figure out how a forklift could pick anything from those shelves. Just from looking at that picture, it would appear the only way to remove anything would be from the far ends (unless the opposing side not showing is open, in which case ignore my post :)).

... the difference between God and an electrical engineer is that God doesn't think he's an electrical engineer.

I believe this joke exists everywhere. As a (bio)chemist, we say "The difference between God and a physicist is that God doesn't think he's a physicist" and others derivations, depending upon the audience.

Cheers,
Richard

True, but those of us who have had any interaction with enough EEs will know that it fits them best. If you want to joke about physicists, just remind them that God only stopped playing dice with the universe after losing electrodynamics to the devil.

@lilhermiejobo:
Drive-in racks are designed for storing large quantities of similar pallets. You load and unload the rack by taking out pallets in a vertical way. So you first get the one on the floor, then the one on the first level, then second level, till you have reached top level. After that you drive in the rack and start again at the floor level, then first level, then..... you get the idea ;-)
As there are nearly no aisles, you can have up to 75% more storage capacity as opposed to regular pallet racking.

Associates in Computer Science with an emphasis on Computer Security (similar to computer engineering but with a little more study) working on a PhD!!!

you can guess who I am.

Same as Mephisto ... Electronics and telecommunication Engineer and also working for a telecomm company in Mx.
