All.

I just noticed that Opeth is the only band of which I have (bought) the entire discography (well, except bands that have only released their debut so far).

i only own the entire discography of The Offspring....when i was in my n00b days of music , that was the first band i listened too,.

Technically at this point I only own 6 opeth CDs. (all legally bought) I ordered Orchid from amazon.com on friday, so i will own all 7 by the end of the week.

This isn't the only band i own the entire discography of either. I own all 3 Rammstein CDs + the live CD. I own both linkin park CDs and the reanimation CD. I own both Disturbed CDs.

Note: This's my first post :D.

I'd just like to say when I read that it is hard to find them NEAR you...its a load of crap. Your better off ordering off the net anyway. There are tons of sites that sell them very cheap and if you are a fan why didn't you get them a long time ago? I see people with over 500 posts and wtf are you talking about? Music you haven't heard or music you burned? Fuck ALL pirates! I remember a few months ago century media had the first two for 10! 2 cds for $10! Come on!

How are you better off ordering online? Buying from your local store means:

a.) Almost guaranteed lower prices (think about it, CDs are 10-15 bucks online, without shipping, and at most CDs from the store are 20 bucks, and more likely 12-13 bucks)
b.) You get the CD right away, no waiting
c.) Assurance that you won't have to deal with retard customer service if your CD doesn't come or comes broken
d.) A drive in the car which is always pleasent

So there.

a) No, this is rarely true for me. Especially if you order from The End or Dark Symphonies which are usually $10 - $12 WITH SHIPPING for addresses within the US. For those of you outside the US, I really have no clue. When I was in Taiwan, I couldn't figure out where to order from... eventually I just had The End ship me an order of 10 discs or so via Fed Ex. Total shipping was $26, which is reasonable, I think.

b-d) can't argue with that, although The End has pretty attentive customer service. I haven't used DS for some time. Century Media used to be HORRIBLE, but they're much better now in terms of delivery speed (used to be 6 weeks, now more like 1-1.5) and customer service.

As for the topic on hand, I used to have 10 opeth discs. The original 7 plus the 3 reissues. But I gave the first 3 originals to the local radio station (in Champaign, Illinois, not Korea). Their Opeth collection was pathetic.

krep, almost time to go to work...

*cough*bullshit*cough*
a) Online is always cheaper
b) This may be true if you have a local store that stocks underground metal etc.
c) Never had this problem in all the years of ordering!
d) ummmm. fuel hmmmmmm...

Moonlapse, I DO own all of them. It's just that Orchid and Morningrise aren't the actual CDs, they're burned. ;) I'll get the real things from TheEndRecords. I didn't know they had re-issues.

That's not really owning them.

I have them all, and they're all worth owning.
