I personally despise them and their messages. They have become exactly what they hate. They're constantly saying how much they despise rich and famous celebrities when they themselves are rich and famous. Its okay to contradict yourself every once in a while but you don't have to do it constantly and in your own lyrics.

For Example:

Always see it on t.v.
Or read it in the magazines
Celebrities who want sympathy
All they do is piss and moan
Inside the rolling stone
Talkin'about how hard life can be

I'd like to see them spend a week

I also can't stand the fact that they actually call themselves a band. Their guitar is incredibly simple and watered-down.

It kinda makes me wonder how they got a job as journalists in Guitar World.

I live with my sister who is 12, and might I tell you about her CD collection. Well for starters she has two Good Charolette releases, a Good Charolette DVD, some Simple Plan CD, an All American Rejects CD, a Green Day Cd and that's about it. This is very, very, very, bad music, with an unartistic quality and a radio friendly vibe. It has always been a question of mine of how they sleep at night? I mean come on, they're in their early 30s and making music about being a pre-teenager and it's not even good music. It's three power chords with bullshit lyrics that where written by a producer at a major label.

It is my personal opinion that bands like Good Charolette, Simple Plan, Linkin Park, etc. are influencing a generation of people who's only exposure are these bands, and they will make music that has been influenced by these bands. This new generation of pop punk/punk rock/radio hard rock is ruining music, and causing a degression in music, whereas we previously had a progression. How do they sleep at night?

It is my personal opinion that everyone should boycott American pop-alternative rock radio stations, and start to listen to classical radio, college radio, jazz radio, and classic rock radio. That way the numbers will fall on the ratings, and possibly even get rid of this new wave radio punk bullshit. And I also think a massive boycott of MTV and they're low intellectual programming should also go into effect. But I'm preaching to the chior basically. This is the ultimate-metal forums, not the Good Charolette message board, or the MTV message board.

Maybe we should all go and attack MTV's message board?

I just hate it when mature, sound minded individuals, all my age, get together for some friendly drinks... and decide that the most appropriate music would be one of the bands mentioned here (Good Charlotte, Blink182, Avril, generic pop-punk up the shitter). That pisses me off. Especialy when I always carry my drinking music with me to drinkups (AC/DC, Led Zep, Deep Purple, Slayer).
