sorry for being off thread topic but cool 2 of us from sydney in here, what state/city are u from shreddi?

I'm from Gold Coast:Spin:It seriously sucks here:yell:. There is no culturelike in Melbourne and Sydney! The music Shops suck unlike some in Melbourne. Sure the weather is pretty good, and the beaches are good, but thats it:Smug:

I think Me, You (Silent Realm) and Julz are the only Ozzy's here. Oh yeah, there is this guy who ocasionly pops up and always rights in green. AussieOutlaw - I think?:erk:

they dont have much in the way of metal stores here in sydney either.. utopia has sold out to commercialism..but i still shop there..they havent got as good a metal selection as metal mayhem in melbourne does though :(..

So you do know what I'm talking about:tickled: That shop is the best. I just got the new Evergrey album by mail order in today! When I was there on holiday I got such cd's as Spiral Archetect, Zero Hour ect... The guys nearly fainted as they saw a guy my age getting these extreem things. Those guys are so cool. We talked for about half an hour just on prog. They actually knew more about prog than I did. I never have met anybody (personaly) like that!

Damn! I was in Melbourne in April and I must have missed the metal stores there but I did check out some cool used record shops, It was the first time I been to Melbourne and I was alone but I'll remember that name Metal Mayhem when I go back in August. Yeah, it's a pity about Utopia. I fondly remember the days when it was an underground store on Clarence St. Shreddi, drop me a line if there's anything you need from the southern states. I plan to do a major shopping blitz when i go to Melbourne!

There's a supposedly excellent online webstore called www.metalshop.com.au but to me it's rubbish coz a search for Symphony X returned no results :bah:

Legal, Baby!!!! I'm 18, and high-school is just an endurance test, and an insult to my intelligence. I hang out with 30-year-old metal heads, and have moved myself past the pathetic high-school mentality... HMWOO HOOW HAWWW HAHAH HAHAHAH!

don't take that personally, any of you high-school kids, I'm not referring to you in general, but the suburbs of Cincinnati are full of ignorant people, ESPECIALLY high-school aged kids... has the collective maturity of a dust bunny

Thanx dude, Just tell me when your going there and I'll give you the details then. It is litterally the BEST cd shop in the world! It has a whole stand of Prog/Power ! Literally Every band you can think of (thats Metal) is there! The guys there are also really friendly so don't be afraid to talk to them about music! Here is a thread I made a little while ago for more details http://www.ultimatemetal.com/forum/showthread.php?threadid=85823

14, but i FEEL 43. Is this normal?

Yeah, it's normal. Kids aren't allowed to have childhoods anymore. It probably will get better with age. At least you'll be the age you feel you are eventually. :D

(Don't mind my pessimism, 'cause I'm still suffering of the headache I got from listening to Origin. Don't touch that stuff, it's dangerous. :yell: )
