Be still, O wand'rer!
Listening to the album again this morning (another 5am train ride, heh). Anyway, this is great stuff, EASILY top 10. The thing that really struck me today was:
(a) how two Chilean bands will be in my top 10 this year
(b) how much the acoustics lean towards a slight South American flavour, whereas Empyrium (as an obvious comparison) is very, very Germanic if you know what I mean.
(c) will this be out in time to be a 2004 release?
There are a few flaws with the album - the first 3 minute track of rainfall is overly long, the second track could do without the fake crying, and the fourth track (I think) could have been about 4 minutes shorter. Otherwise, I give it my seal of approval.
