does anything on that Terrorizer list cover the last 10-15 years?

most of the stuff that came after those is just a retread. that said, the newest one on there is black seeds (2000). i could be wrong.

cannibal corpse isnt as bad as everyone implies. i can only imagine what this was like in 1992, hearing it for the first time.

I still love the first few Cannibal Corpse albums. I remember picking each up on the day they were released (or, at least, the day they finally made it to my record store in MN). I'll never get rid of those albums.

The only Suffocation release I haven't been too enamoured with so far is Souls To Deny - kind of felt like they were phoning that one in. The self-titled is fucking great, however. There's something about the brutal simplicity of lyrics like 'My father once told me... Shut up' that adds punch to the already slammin' riffage.

Got really into slam death metal recently - Abominable Putridity, Cephalotripsy, that sort of stuff. Any recommendations?

I've never even heard of Abominable Putridity and Cephalotripsy until now. I must say I enjoyed what Abominable Putridity had on their myspace page.
