By the way that comment DOES fit this thread because I think the reason people don't like Watershed is because it is so vastly different from the older Opeth material, hence being afraid of change. See what I did there?
i dont like mikes growls or mikes singing, for absent friends is my favourite opeth song, it might not be if there was vocals

I'd be stoked! Though more so if it was a piano concerto. Harpsichords have limited dynamics, and that just wouldn't go well with Opeth would it

The being afraid of change thing, comes from a conservative attitude in ways of living ... not about what some band does on a next album! Nobody feels "afraid", experience that emotion, because a band changes on albums!
Hence, it doesn't fit at all and it is misusing clichés ...

Man, I wonder how many people up here have actually gotten a high school degree ... let alone college ... or dare I say university!
