If BLACKWATER PARK Is Opeth's Worst CD...

Morningrise is an orgy of classical guitar. Still Life has a lot too. Besides a few obvious parts, I can't remember much from MAYH and Orchid.

I wouldn't call BWP their worst either. I said it was their best until the newness wore off. Now it's just "possibly their best." They offer different things, so I can't compare them directly.
 
If one thinks that Benighted is a great Opeth acoustical track...that song can't even, and by a country fucking mile, touch Credence and To Bid You Farewell.

Are you guys serious?!?! I love Credence too but as a song Benighted AND Face of Melinda blow it and TBYF right out of the water...

Sure I might be biased as I love the hell out of Still Life but I've learned most of the acoustic parts and I absolutely adore Benighted and Face of Melinda..

I think "Harvest" blew me away because it's a conventional song. I thought all songs were great though...haunting songs always get me.

Opeth are incredible.

"Harvest" is one of the greatest songs I've ever heard.

Blackwater park rules! as hell! I felt exactly the same! and then I got morningrise and still life! It was fucking amazing! I got the same feelings again! mr and sl are even better than blackwater park...

Yeah I have heard of Ulver, its just a pity that the only person that would have a copy of the CD I could borrow, Im not on very good terms with anymore(suppose thats no excuse). I'll have to eventually order it in, it just takes about six months for the best store in my city to order a copy in

Yeah, Blackwater Park was the release that got me into Opeth now im gradually moving down the line to the start
