Daylight Dies are MASSIVE pwnage. The members are hella-cool as well. Melo-death? Dude... maybe you should stick with Poison the Well.

I can't really get into Rapture's "Songs..."; yeah, it's catchy and yeah, it's a pretty good extention of BMD, but it doesn't really do much for me. :<

damn, you people act like I called Daylight Dies a Soilwork-clone. Go read any reviews from their site. They are labelled melodic death/doom.

I never said they sucked or anything, either. I just prefer the real thing when it comes to this I guess.

Yeah after skimming through this, that BMD-like compilation is an even better idea to start. Would help with my currently overly selective nature as well.
