Jonathan Butler, the face of the student protests at the University of Missouri, is not what he seems. On its face, he appears to be a young, black, angry victim of a racist country determined to keep African-Americans mired in crime and poverty. Well, back that up a bit. Because Jonathan Butler isn’t your average young, poor, black college student. In fact, he’s shockingly wealthy. This spoiled, rich kid’s antics have led to the removal of at least two respected leaders who committed no fireable offense.
Butler claimed he was going on a hunger strike until university leaders stepped down – and got the crappy football team to play along.
It’s all theatre, from the non-existent poop swastika to public protests on public property that apparently weren’t for the public to witness. It’s nonsense.
And at the center of the nonsense is local hero – Omaha’s own – Jonathan Butler.
As “Louder With Crowder” points out, Butler complains about white privilege and his dad makes $8.4 million per year?
He is a member of a prominent Omaha family. The newspaper says that Butler’s father is Eric L. Butler, executive vice president for sales and marketing for the Union Pacific Railroad. His 2014 compensation was $8.4 million, according to regulatory filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
Those are the three alleged incidents that led to the resignation of the top university officials.
The thing is – there’s absolutely no proof that any of these incidents actually happened.
1.) The Student’s Association President Payton Head said he was called the n-word.
There is absolutely no proof of this.
2.) A group of black students said they were called the n-word by some guy in a car.
There is absolutely no proof of this.
3.) A poop swastika was painted in a dormitory restroom at 2 in the morning.
Once again, there is absolutely no proof of this. The Federalist contacted campus authorities and discovered no one even saw the poop swastika.
It was just a rumor.
The kids are holding hunger strikes. The football players threatened a boycott.
The campus executives resigned.
And there is no proof anything ever actually happened.

Dear Claremont community,
For anyone who ever tries to invalidate the experiences of POC at the Claremont Colleges, here is a reminder of why we feel the way we do. Dont tell me Im overreacting, dont tell me Im being too sensitive. My voice will not be silenced. Im mentally drained from being a part of this community and Ive had enough. If you feel uncomfortable by my cover photo, I want you to know I feel uncomfortable as a person of color everyday on this campus.

For example, how would you feel as a person descended from Native Americans in the United States (My great-great grandmother was full Cherokee Indian), if you saw a white person (descended from a lineage of people who performed genocide, and took part in efforts to decimate an entire culture and people for land and land development) wearing a parody of a Native-American “costume?” Do you think that it would instigate at least a small amount of pain in your heart?
I asked senior leadership on ASCMC, what can be done to prevent things like this from happening in the future and was given the response, “get elected to ASCMC as a student leader.” But what if I’m not interested in getting involved in student government? What if I like art and music and like spending my extracurricular time pursuing those things? What if I want to give studying for the LSAT my full attention?

Where did he say anything about privilege? My understanding is that the Head president student kid or some other student body said "Hey Wolfe say you're white and that you're privileged"
Got to be honest, this character destruction is really dumb. Happened with the clock kid too.
And the last quote, how could anyone prove the first two scenarios? Think minorities report it every time they get racial slurs yelled at them? I really don't get the purpose behind that post at all.
I'm not in favour of criticising someone's politics based on the personal, but I won't pretend like I'm upset when the very types of crowds who are experts when it comes to character assassinations and mischaracterisations have it happen to them.
The horror in question?
And the girl who got in trouble was the one in the yellow shirt

Another student and woman of color described, with palpable emotion, her encounters with racism on campus: A few weeks ago, I was spit on by a white man; my friends have been peed on by white men;
Also that lady on the far right is bananas.
How does she know the white people in question aren't second or third generation European immigrants?
