If Mort Divine ruled the world

I've gotta say, I find this persistent Mort fetish you guys have to be curious, especially since he rarely responds to any of it. The Mort-pedo jokes back in the day made a lot more sense.

Mort fetish? I just said lately he has a habit of jumping in and out of a thread with a snide remark. There's no fetish to find curious you weirdo lol.

Still, considering these kids were brought into this shitshow while in training to be the next generation of right-wing activists, I'll say my point sticks.

Your point is that because I defended kids slandered by the media and the left I'm going against my opinion that activism is shit? I mean... okay.

I've personally never heard a MAGA guy say this, but the Black Israelites most certainly would say that yet you left-wing cucks are so mad at kids for wearing hats that you can't even target the true bigots in that video. Nothing about how they were calling Donald Trump a homosexual as if that's a criticism of the man?

The Black Israelites were offensive and demeaning, and I despise that kind of rhetoric. Coincidentally, a lot of what they say overlaps with the kind of rhetoric you hear from far-right asses like Westboro Baptists.

I'm not willing to call those kids "innocent" though. At the very least, they understood that wearing MAGA hats isn't a politically neutral piece of clothing (and being harassed for wearing a MAGA hat is different than being harassed for wearing a short skirt). I'm willing to say that their lives are being significantly directed by the shitty bubble they live in at Covington Catholic; but if so, then it's important that they become the center of a national conversation.

What's happened the past couple days hasn't only been about recovering the truth (although I'm sure some people believe that's all it's been about), but also recovering the far-right's position as the perpetual underdogs and targets of the liberal media. For all their criticism of "victim culture," the right is very good at painting itself as the victim.

There's a difference between "victim culture" and being an actual victim.

Of course the kids are innocent. Wearing that hat is a political act, I agree, and it's not the reactions of the Black Israelites and Nathan Phillips that make those kids victims. If that hat generates verbal conflict that's reasonable. What they're victims of is the media who drummed up hate mobs and literal lies that have victimized those kids.

If kids wore "BlackLivesMatter" shirts to a political event, nobody would be justifying this behaviour from the media. Kids are getting death threats from faggots on twitter who pretend to be the paragons of virtue and ethics.

Agreed. Except every coward has a Westboro joke up their sleeve or some criticism for them they'll happily give, whereas Nathan Phillips actually said he walked up to the kids and drummed and chanted in their faces IN DEFENCE of the Black Israelites lmao.

And of course those kids were innocent. They have EVERY right to wear those hats. And no one should get in their faces and start harassing them because of it. That kid handled it like a class act imo.

"i dont like Trump so i find that hat offensive" is ridiculous and anyone that brings that up as a reason to justify what that fake "vietnam vet" did is just showcasing that they dont have the ability to look at this without bias . Imagine if i went up to every person who had an obama or "Im with Her" sticker on their cars and started harassing them.

all it is is the left trying to shut down, demonize and silence anyone that supports Trump

The most interesting part of this whole thing for me is that not only did the media prove that it has the power to potentially destroy lives, but that it will happily do so, even to kids, if it feels like a political K.O. for them.

I don't think I've ever seen such a blatantly false reading of an event, coupled with such a vitriolic treatment of a kid, with such an overwhelming debunking of a story and such a weaselly attempt to apologize (yet still failing to do so), in my lifetime. Other examples had one or two elements, but not all of them at once.

If you're making a political statement, then you're not innocent. That is all.

Guilt of wearing a political piece of clothing justifies what exactly?

It justifies people calling you out.

Generic. Does "calling you out" include racial abuse, being told to go back to Europe, being told that "your president is a homosexual," sent death threats, family harassment, Twitter socialites talking about how you should be killed or hurt, media smears, petitions for expulsion etc etc?

Stop being a cuck your whole life and tell me exactly how much punishment these kids deserve because they're guilty of wearing a hat that supports the current President of your country.

No, not at all. It includes post-media fallout of people saying that the MAGA hat-wearing kids aren't innocent and played a part in all this. Like BO and I are doing now. They aren't innocent. They went to a pro-life rally and then found themselves in an unfortunate situation in which some of them mocked a Native American (not the smiling kid, but others) and didn't remove themselves from a social media firestorm. There's no innocence here.

They don't deserve anything beyond the kinds of conversations we're having now.

And learn a new word.

How was Nathan Phillips mocked by the kids?

Only conversation I'm having is one in which the media is dogshit, Nathan Phillips is a lying activist cunt, the Black Israelites are the villains who nobody is really talking about and a kid is being treated like the spawn of Satan because he smirked at a retard drumming and chanting in his face for no reason, who then went ahead and actually played the victim in an event where he wasn't even close to being one.

And learn a new word.

Okay, soyboi.
