Anyone who mentioned a black metal band that isn't Spite Extreme Wing failed. Infact, anyone who didn't mention Spite Extreme Wing fails.

I've listened to it over 200 times over the past few years, and it still hasn't gotten old. That speaks volumes, because only a few albums out of the several hundred I own have gotten more than ten or twenty spins.
Well i can't cover every genre in 5 albums, and you can't be serious on not knowing who Down is.
If you're talking about a desert island album, I only have a few of them.
It will probably be tiresome to confine yourself to only one metal album, especially if it's from the extreme spectrum. Basically,I'm relating to what MasterOLightning said earlier: a lot of extreme metal tends to either depress you after a while due to its ominous mood(if we're talking about OSDM, Doom or BM here) or senselessly beat you into the ground with its overpowering bass.
It's wise hence to choose an album of considerable length that doesn't grate on you, preferably something with a good sense of dynamics and some elephantine riffage thrown in for good measure.
That is enough to keep me from ever hearing them.
You're the only one who ever mentions them on this whole forum, in any thread.
Don't be a dick.they are somehow connected to Pantera. That is enough to keep me from ever hearing them.
Don't be a complete faggot.
Down is considered sludge. It has Phil Anselmo on vox, but it's decent. Give it a shot.
