Iron Maiden 2008 setlist

I'll be going to Wacken to see them this year. :kickass:

Although, I agree with those that feel the setlist doesn't dig deep enough into that classic era of Maiden. I'm hoping the setlist evolves a bit by the time they play Wacken.

Good setlist, though they regularly play most of those tracks.
I will still see Maiden whenever I can, as you never know when they might call it a day.

The AMOLAD tour was great, as I did not have to hear Run To The Hills for the zillionth time!

More crappy clips:

That's the only problem with a lot of established acts like Black Sabbath, Dio, Iron Maiden, etc. Their concerts usually consist of all the older material that the fans want to hear, so there's not a lot of room for the new stuff.

Dio needs to do a Magica-theme tour sometime... And if anything, just a handful of other tracks, like Holy Diver and such to satisfy the regular crowd.

Is Bruce wearing a hat in that video?

Apparently yes:

I wish they would leave Jannick Gers at home.
He isn't needed and would NOT be missed.
He is so annoying on stage.

Janick has been a part of the band for 19 yrs, his solos on the old songs are awesome. Didn't we have this converasation at the HOB?

If that's the set, I won't feel bad about skipping them.

I agree with you. I thought that the material was supposed to be from "Powerslave"-on. What's with the "Piece Of Mind" material?

And big surprise once again, no rare, un-played bones thrown to the harcores. Just a bunch of stuff that they've done already.:puke:

My favorite band of all time has become a total unimaginative joke with no respect to the fans that got them to the point they're at.

Fucking jagoffs.
