Honestly though, as far as racism goes, my country is more racist than most people would believe - but let's remember that just presuming a white person is racist, without basing that on anything, is fundamentally racist as well, as well as fucking bullshit. DON'T fucking draw the "racist" card just because you're part of the minority. The reason I'm bringing this up is because that's what happens a LOT these days.
It's like minorities deliberately separate themselves from others with this superstition, which effectively is, what? ...Racism. But of course, racist is a label reserved exclusively for white people. So what do we get? Awkward situations for people who really didn't mean to be offensive in the first place. So fuck the racist card. I don't give a fuck where your ancestors were from, so don't act like I would.
I actually remember being on a bus and this black dude going on behind me to some chick (in english, probably thinking I wouldn't understand), how he's 100% sure I'm gonna turn around and punch him at any moment, and how he knows how guys like me are. The girl just tried to tell him that come on, it's just his style, he's not violent. I'm pretty shamed to admit I didn't correct the guy despite hearing all this.
I mean, it's not the same, but people do have superstitions for a reason. I guess he didn't know what the metal music culture is really like, so he just assumed I like to fuck people up. That's fine - again, I still wish I would've just told the guy that he shouldn't worry about it. But in the same sense, I hear a lot of people using the argument that black people statistically commit more crimes here than the native person, that's why we shouldn't allow anyone from Africa to move into the country.
We're all individuals. I know the african culture is different - but even theirs doesn't include committing crimes to an extent that it would be okay. So it's not what they "all do".
So I guess what I'm trying to say is racism is bad, mmmkay? But racism goes both ways - I don't want to be worried about talking to a black dude, because he might have this mindset that I must be racist because of the color of my skin, or my style, or what the fuck ever. That's just demeaning yourself, right? So let's just all be people.
