Dunno about Nationally but Almost Human are on board for the Adelaide show and they're alright. They might throw in a Saxon cover

Exciting update on the tour!

I just had a dream that yes, Priest were still going to be coming to Australia, but that it's no longer a headlining tour. They will instead be supporting Poison on their just-announced Australian tour. The Brisbane show will be on November 1 at the Riverstage.

No other details - my brain went on to other crazy stuff after that.

I'm not sure if the MS support was confirmed yet. I know Electric Mary have official dates up for the tour, but no mention of MS yet. Wouldn't surprise me, however - they're on Riot, and Riot/Alliance Touring is pretty well connected with these kind of events.

I thought Daysend were the opener for the Priest tour?
or did I get that mixed up with another tour that they are on?

Daysend got dropped. Now there are different supports in each city. Black Steel in Perth, Mortal Sin in Sydney and Almost Human in Adelaide, and Electric Mary is doing the whole tour AFAIK.

though possibly too trashy for many going to see Priest.

I was thinking earlier, it would be much harder to gauge what size venues bands should book these days, as they can't make decisions based on album sales anymore.

Well, I've managed to score myself and a friend 2 tickets for $50 each... now, let's see if they move the show from Acer to somewhere smaller in the next week and a half, shall we?
