If you haven't heard these guys, then check them out. I posted this on the CoB forum because they bear some simliarities to CoB, but they don't sound like a copy--you'll like 'em.

Dammit people, so many people love Kalmah (can't blame them) but there is a lack of Eternal Tears of Sorrow fans.... kalmah is like bodom meets EToS,, seeing how members of EToS are in Kalmah

they are really good but i also suggest Throne of Chaos, seem really underated and people dont like them but i think they kick ass! check them out, fistfucking and alienseed is my fav

Kalmah isn't quite as technical as bodom, they're similar to Something Wild Children of bodom, not Follow The Reaper Children of Bodom

Well, I wouldn't say "far beyond" because TOC is not that special at all but for sure they achieve more originality than COB...but on the other side COB have a higher "kickass-factor" than TOC...at least in my eyes...

...oh, and Kalmah ...well, sometimes listenable, sometimes annoying...for sure I can live without their music...
