So today I decided to head out to a fairly local skate park one suburb away (I live in Altona Meadows, so Melbourne locals can guess what suburb I'm talking about..............yes, that really fucking ghetto place) and on the way there, 3 kids were walking slowly down a street I was walking down, about 100 meters or so in front of me.
Eventually they stop at the end of the street (the street doesn't continue but leads into a park/walking track thing) and all 3 of them look at me, a chick, and two dudes.
One of the guys then asks me for a cigarette, too which I replied I don't smoke. Then asked for a dollar, which I said I didn't have and then asked for my skateboard. The whole time the chick was giving me that "I'm a snotty nose tough bitch" look. Little cunt is probably gonna be pregnant in a year.
I just walked away and expected them to follow me, but they didn't (they probably realized at that point I was a good 5-6 years older than them).
I'm not a violent person at all, but I honestly wanted to just grab my skateboard and to just smash it in their fucking faces because I know that would at least put them in their place and show them they aren't such the tough little wankers they think they are.
As a 21 year old, even though it's like my teen years were seemingly only yesterday, I feel as if the generational gap between me and the average kid of 15-16 is absolutely enormous.
It just sickens me that seemingly every second kid, even more, that come out of these less well off suburbs constantly walk around with this "tough guy/girl" attitude.
They seem capable of keeping this act up the entire day they are in public too. I recall very recently, yesterday in fact, waiting at the train station for a bus to get home, and seeing these 3 guys around 17-18 walk out of a local shop to walk to a rubbish bin.
You'd think they could just walk to the goddamn thing in a normal manner, but no, they do that "tough guy" walk to a rubbish bin about 2 FUCKING METERS AWAY from the entrance of the shop.
Really wish all these kids could be round up, and sent to a boot camp, so they could lose the tough guy/girl attitude bullshit and learn to do something more productive with their time rather than loitering around train stations, run down streets etc and trying to be intimidating and harassing people.
I know sometimes we go on youtube and complain about 15-16 year old kids who sit in there bedroom all day just shredding and can't play with feel worth a shit, but somehow I think I'd much prefer that more kids did that and kept out of trouble than getting pregnant at the age of 15, and asking me for my skateoard.
