Anyway, if you're talking about the Church of Satan specifically, it has several tenets advocating cruelty and harm to people who annoy you, so there's nothing "peaceful" about that. The church itself also has a shady as hell history, as LaVey was a self-described liar and allegedly physically and/or sexually abused his wife, children, and numerous other women in the church. Karmablade would likely deny that the brand of Satanism he follows is the same as the CoS, but at any rate there's clearly nothing "intelligent" or "commonsense" about worshipping a figure from Christianity that represents everything Christians consider sinful.
