I would have been horrified to see them playing at a stadium! Whats the point of going to a concert where you pay 65 bucks for a ticket then have to sit 350 feet away? I'll take small venues any day

Smaller venues are so much better IMO. Why spend 40++ to sit in the nosebleed section, or on a lawn section - or a point where you cant see the band members. That's kind of dumb. I'd love to see SX play the Oakdale, that venue would be near perfect, as long as they didn;t overprice for tixx. Yes - Symphony X @ the Oakdale... Petition anyone?

the closest i've come to seeing them in a stadium is when we saw Russel at an Iron Maiden show
