Laney amplifier endorsement by Opeth

Just noticed the nifty Opeth Laney amplifier endorsement pics on the official site. They say Mike uses a GH100L and Pete uses a VH100R. Has anybody ever had a chance to check out either of these amps? Just seeing that Opeth endorses them is driving me crazy to go plug into one. Hell, if Opeth endorses them, they've gotta be good, right?!

Yeah, I co-own a Laney VH100R (with a Marshall quad though). You're right, it's a great amp. The clean channel has this bell-like clarity -beautiful. Exceptionally loud (not brave enough to take it beyond 3 ) and as expected, kick ass distortion.

I could try to explain some more, but I can't be fucked! Suffice to say, play through one if you get the chance, I really like this amp.

when i see things like that i usually think, well they have to endorse it, they get a free amp and money, but im glad that people like the amp.

I´m anout to buy a Laney amp, but TFX300 is not the same though. Quality amps anyway...
