I absolutely love the use of film in Snatch. Play with the celluloid! Massage it! TELL HER YOU LOVE HER!!!

Oh yeah, for sure, some of it is hysterical. Thing is though, none of it is conventional slapstick or collection of sketches. In other words, totally un-American.

I think the most interesting aspect is that Guy Ritchie writes dialogUE that is pretty much regular day to day conversation in ol' blighty. I don't think Brits try to be funny, I think they just are without really even knowing it.
