Problems.
When running pod farm, it ask me which device have I, and none of the choices is the PodXT.
Doesn't appear in Cubase's Plugins.

I have the same issue...running XT but on a Mac? what file do I have to copy to get the plugin to work in Logic? great find BTW...Thanks!

Is there any advantage, tonally, to using POD Farm instead of the PODXT? Or do they sound the same?

PODFarm is supposedly based upon the code used on the POD X3 line which is supposed to have better sound along with the ability to use dual-tone capabilities.

I didn't have a problem with Logic, except that Logic bitched about it not passing AU validation and didn't like the plugin. But I just ticked the box and it seems to have worked well so far.

I got it working...Thanks
so far I'm not too impressed with the tones but I haven't messed around too much to form an opinion yet but hey, it was free! :kickass:

I had to read this a second time, because I was like "I already have PODFarm with my toneport, what's the big whoop?" but then I realised it was the Plugin version.

Yep.
I find with the X3 Live/POD Farm not only is it a little less compressed sounding/feeling, but I don't have to spend as much time dialing out the fizz.

Yeah... I A/B'd my POD XT and POD Farm using the same patch, and I liked what I was hearing from POD Farm a tiny bit better. A tiny tiny bit more depth to the sound, IMO.

I want an X3.

this may sound stupid, but how do I access pod farm? I got it activated but when I search my plugins in cubase I don't see pod farm, I just see gearbox. am I missing something?

Got this last night. It's a pretty decent improvement over Gearbox in my opinion - the ability to run dual amps is awesome! And, all of my expansions work in it too!

YAY! ;)

Glad you guys grabbed this too - too good to NOT mention! :headbang:
