Spiff, it's always important to have someone around to take the wind out of your sails and keep you grounded. Thank you for your comments. I know I am no vituoso or Mariah Carey and that the general public would be unaware of this but keep in mind that eighteen months ago, I couldn't play the piano. I had to learn from scratch. Ok, I learnt for a few years as a child but I had literally not touched the thing since a very young age. I think I've done ok considering but I know that I live in a cruel world. Like I said before, I was shocked that people have been so positive about it. I was hoping it was more than just because they knew me. And I'll live in the bubble of believing that.

Mark, I don't really know how all that works but we tried to make the sound better quality and keep the video small. Thanks Mark.

I had recorded some of my live shows down here (as Tim will verify) but to get the visual side looking professional is really hard.

I was wondering if that was one of the clips I'd edited together from the footage you had, actually! That was a bit tricky as you saw on the day..!

As always, I'm damn impressed, although the clip could be made a little larger in size with a different compression ratio and not lose too much quality and gain too much download size.

Well the thing is, I still love Nigel and he'll always be my carpark superhero.

Tim, they loved the clip you edited and it inspired them to do it so that I looked less like an albino (You know what I mean) In other words it made them realise what they could do if they put just a tiny little bit of money into doing something a bit better than my very amateurish attempts at filmography. Your version was actually shown in the UK I might add.

Okay, it's taken me long enough but I've finally downloaded both songs and can only concur with Los4Words. I'd like an album yesterday, and a tour before that if you can manage . Excellent work all round!

Hey Moony, do have songs where you just rock out? Not in a heavy or thrashy way, just, you know, pound the shit out of that piano and sing loud and stuff? See PJ Harvey, Liz Phair or Aimee Mann as examples (although they're all guitar players. The theory still stands though).

Very interesting you should ask that. The album is called Sanctity. The title track is the heaviest on there and I do indeed pound the shit out of the piano when I sing it. The chorus has heavier guitars than anything I have done before and there is even a guitar solo in the instrumental middle section. It's about a pretty bad relationship I had to get out of before I could move forward with my life so it's pretty intense.

We're aiming to release the album in February through Universal. I'll be doing solo gigs up until the end of the year in Sydney and I think Melbourne, possibly Brisbane and of course Japan. Then I intend to put my band together and do some bigger gigs into the new year and beyond.

If you want to hear Two Is a Crowd as it is on the album, you could go here. You'll see that the album sounds quite different to the acoustic sets I do just on the piano.
