H.I.M. isnt actually emo, I had to listen to an album of theirs when I worked at Music World. Didn't care for it at all, but it was definatly different than emo.

I know some HIM fans, my freind's brother went to see their concert (he was invited for free) and all the people who were going were definatly weird people but none where emo.

It's also true that alot of emo kids listen to HIM, which makes them look alot more emo than they actually are, but my emo cousin listens to KISS and Guns n' Roses, and they arn't emo bands.
