I spun Mond two times today, and I thought ehhh the entire time. It requires more time though.

I plan on buying Ars Moriendi really soon.

After ten more listens I really enjoy this album, it's a good progression from Zyklus, but not as good as Zyklus or Andacht.

Ars Moriendi is pretty good, although it is quite different than the rest of their material. As J. pointed out later it's a more brutal version of In the Nightside Eclipse. There are some great parts in this album, but I've only spun it around 6 times. I need to listen to Weltengänger because I bought it, and have been listening to the other shit more.

This is one band that you their albums get better on every single listen. The cold as fuck atmosphere with the droning guitars that will suddenly rip through your skill is absolutely stunning. Buy everything from this band!

What did you think of Elixir? I thought it was pretty mediocre and am now hesitant to check out more of their stuff :|

I haven't heard this one, but if it's like any other Lunar Aurora stuff, I'd say give it more time. The gold in the band really shines after multiple spins.

I’d take every Lunar release (since Of Stargates... at least) over pretty much every BM album in a pick-your-fave kind of poll. Their music is just so energizing and just never gets old, though it does feel delightfully old. Andacht is absolutely breathtaking down to the smallest detail, what an epitaph!!! The last blasting acceleration of Das Ende had me nearly throwing my head against the wall in suicidal glee more than once.

To me, Lunar Aurora grabs you by the throat from the get-go and doesn't let up.

Same here, but I can understand how it would require some acclimatization for some people. Despite all the blasting and shrieking and stuff, their music has little structural resemblance to anything else really

The song "A Haudiga Fluag" on the split with Paysage d'Hiver is phenomenal. It seems like everything I've heard from these guys so far is fantastic, Zyklus is my favourite I'd say.
