Both of those bands are the shit! Monster Magnet rock like motherfuckers. I also like Devildriver. Social Distortion, Primus and Gang of Four would be great too.

Monster Magnet are great, I've been a fan for a long time. Saw them twice last year and they were amazing.

Spiff, they are kinda like a stoner/spacey Foo Fighters. Think Kyuss cross Foo Fighters and you are on the right track. I highly recommend 'Dopes To Infinity' and 'Powertrip'. Great albums.

With Iron Maiden, Protest The Hero and Slash at Soundwave 2011 it's easily the biggest musical event I'm looking forward to in the foreseeable future.
I don't feel so bad about missing Slash next week now.

I was watching Rage the other week and when a Primus clip came on I was thinking about how they would have been great to see back in the day. I thought they were actually finished, so catching them will be a great bonus. Awesome.

Nah, they had a gold GA last time which was the front quarter of the standing section closest to the stage.
This was seperate to the rest of the floor by a barrier.
