making a decent mp3

I use a streaming MP3 player on my myspace page & encode with WinLame at maximum VBR quality. Seems to work pretty good for me.

I do as well Oz on my studio page but bands always want me to put the music on the myspace mp3 player and i want it to sound its best.

If you're going to upload an Mp3 to Myspace you're better off encoding it to 96Kbps/22khz yourself. As thats why Myspace will do, and their conversion algorithm stinks.

Use a 3rd party flash streaming mp3 player on your myspace page. Problem solved. I use one to stream my usual 192kbps exports.
