Not easy to find someone who boosts your self-esteem. My quick fix is to see the funny side of one's own twisted predicament and enjoy that. I got myself a relationship of the disapproved kind so can't smear it all over social media lest she gets in trouble ...just my luck. As a nerdy dweeb I started life in a void in the first place and can never sink much as I slowly mastered how to climb out. I stick to being my outwardly boring self so strangers have to be interested enough to talk to me. It's a great way of repelling shitty/shallow people, but a terrible way of getting laid, or so I thought until a chick on the same wavelength and into music/live shows in the same way turned up and loved my nerdiness. The sort of connection that makes us feel younger, or at least content to face death with smiles on our faces.

Ever try just not fucking a chick and just enjoying the company? I don't know. I went through a long stretch where I wanted to just get laid and I got to a point where it was no longer fulfilling to me and I actually wanted a connection beyond just sex. Maybe you're at that point and just need to not worry about sex when that situation comes up.

Casual sex is a form of enabling bad behavior with thots anyway so I would just stay away for a while I guess.
