Now it would be cool, if you´d rate also my mix, overall sound. Do you think, the sound is okay?

its very nice dude, i both do and don't like the nasely mid focus you have going on there depends on the sorta music, but i just know you can make it sound better seems a tad over gainy to me, but its nice to hear this amp, sounds like a very very nice marshall.

Yeah, that´s absolutely true! Some day I got a kind of "blessed are the sick" sound with the red channel..it´s possible.

Ich freu mich schon auf die fertige Version, Instrumental ist es jetzt schonmal sehr geil..(und das nicht wegen meinem Solo)

AWESOME dude, so fucking "Bloodbath," jesus - feels slightly muffled though, I'm thinking it's a mic position issue (too far from the dustcap) though it could just be that it needs more presence. I really dig it though man!

Darker, yes, but still definitely upper-mid focused (not to say I don't like it, but it's not my first choice for my own tonez)

Hello Marcus And THANKS for your time. Hmmm what exactly did you mean with "dustcab" I´m not 100% sure. Do you mean the grille? My sm57 nearly touches it.

I´m looking forward to record the Krank Revolution in combination with the Marshall JVM..will be interesting!

No prob. Felix - and the dustcap is the little "nipple" in the very center of the speaker cone, and of course the closer you get to it, the more fizz you get. To me, the tone sounds like the mic is here:

While I prefer it around here:

Or maybe more presence on the amp would solve it, and the mic position is fine. But yeah, other than that, awesome dude!

Thank you very much..and YES you are absolutely right with your supposition. Another evidence for your good ears, man! Thanks a lot for the pics..I certainly tryed some mic positions, also yours, but we know, millimeters can influence the sound a lot already. I don´t know, if there exists THE MASTERPLAN for recording amps/caps. Under the line, personal taste and artistic freedom plays a great role for me. I don´t want to sound like another musician. Keyword Exchangeability.

But I remember your Mesa Rectifier clips, couple of month ago..since then I always read carefully your opinions about amp recording. Your clips was namely prrrrfekt!!!

Wow... finally an amp, that deserves the Marshall-Logo again.
Do you have other samples, too?! Maybe something brighter or something with a bit more presence? I like the tone a lot, especially the mid-range.

Haha ich nehm mir jedesmal vor, die offenen p.m zu beantworten und dann kommt wieder irgend n Kack dazwischen..Zeit is n Arschloch!!

Am besten ist natürlich ein Lehrer für deinen Fall..du brauchst einen Gitarrenlehrer, der dich vor allem mit Blues nervt..(das ist elementar wichtig)

still using the sneap kick drum? yeah the guitar tone is very nice suits this style well with the clarity your achieveing now and with that mid bite, its not my usual tone id use, but i really do like it for the fact its a marshall dude!!

Am besten ist natürlich ein Lehrer für deinen Fall..du brauchst einen Gitarrenlehrer, der dich vor allem mit Blues nervt..(das ist elementar wichtig)

Hab ich befürchtet, dass n Lehrer Pflicht ist. Scheiße, dass es wie gesagt, auch bei mir mit der Zeit grade schlecht aussieht. Mit Blues dagegen hab ich gar kein Problem

The Kick-attack is a bit "piercing". But maybe thats a matter of taste. I would back off the highs a bit.
Snare sounds really cool ... huge and mighty. Kinda Nickelback'ish - no offense
But it's a bit robotic on the snare-rolls. Sampled or programmed?

On the Marshall again:
How would you compare it's tonal "range" to a JCM800?

Yeah, you´re right..the snare roll is terrible I used samples like I said..but actually I always prefer a human performance. The tonal range in comparison with a JCM800...I think there a some sneapster here who have the dircect comparison.. I don´t have it unfortunately. Nickelbackish Haha that´s not bad at all, it´s a Tama.

Nimm dir die Zeit irgendwie, Solos spielen is der shit Kannst dich total kreativ ausleben und viel Gefühl reinbringen..ein wundervolles Hobby. In Stuttgart umgebung gibt´s vielleicht jemand, der all 2 wöchentlich unterricht geben kann, check´s mal aus..is ja dann auch günstiger vom Tarif her.
