memorize songs

Hehe, I don't make a conscious effort to memorize every note, it just happens that way. There's not a lot I can do about it other than to never listen to it in the first place, and I'm not about to do that. At least it gets me through boring lectures and seminars and practicals.
 
i can go through many songs (not just OPeth) when i'm bored in school. one time, i went through Bleak in my head completely about 3 times!
 
From what I've read, musical memory is quite an interesting phenomenon, especially for those who are absurdly skilled at it. Like some of the composers of old who could listen to like a 30 minute piece once, and then play it back nearly note for note right afterwards.

Music and the mind are two things that may never be understood fully, and to me they are much more influential and important to life than religion will ever be. And much more mysterious and intriguing.
