That albums packaging is probably one of the best that I've ever purchased.

depends on your tolerance of later immortal 'cause it's more of the same really, only even more populist probably. i thought it was ok for what it is.

It's more of the same but worse. It's like Immortal was put in bucket, got rained on, then refrozen..Quite watered down.

true but i've felt that way each time he's released an album from AT THE HEART OF WINTER onwards. i still get superficial pleasures from pretty much everything he's ever released, but anyone looking for vintage immortal in 2016 must've been in a coma for a while or something.

I don't even really find At the Heart of Winter that great. Everything after Pure Holocaust I pass on.

Pure Holocaust is light years ahead of everything else by Immortal imo. Although I have grown fond of the debut recently. Quite disappointing they never hit the heights of PH again.

Blizzard Beasts really only suffers from terrible production. That album would have been bad ass with a few extra nickels tossed in for production costs.

So I guess Spirit Caravan have no officially morphed into The Obsessed and will put out a new album without both Guy and Greg. Not sure about that but new Obsessed excites me regardless.
