Nice to see Marcus winning. He seems to be an intelligent and emotionally neutral chap. {Voted for him :)}
Personally, I'd love to see JBroll as a mod. I freakin' love his posts. :rock:

Gotta agree 100% with that.

JBroll's posts are going to make trolls' heads explode.

Marcus because with him you can be sure there will be moderation : he is always there !

Also, JBroll could be the second moderator, for more severe cases :lol:

glenn (oz) is too mean,

And don't you forget it!

I don't really mind with any of those guys in that list. They're all really insightful and cool guys, and would do a good job.

don't see the need for a mod really - the only modding i see as benefiting the board are moving threads to the right place. people that need to be moderated go away on their own ime.

i assume this is a result of the thread about how much better things used to be - no i don't remember the 'old days' but i can't imagine having a mod will make it the way it used to be.

FTR, should I get the position, all I intend to do is move threads, delete the obvious spam ones (like "NIKE SHOES LOW PRICES STRAIGHT FROM TAIWAN"), and maybe the occasional locking of a thread (the specific circumstance I'm thinking of for that is when someone asks an incredibly beaten-to-death question, a couple of links to previous threads are posted, search function instructions are given, and then [/thread]). I'd leave banning duties to Metalages, and he can be made aware of issues by clicking the little exclamation point under a person's post count to report that post. Also, however, I'm totally indifferent to whether I get the position or not, so it's cool either way! :)

That's what we ( at least I do) think the forum would benefit from having a moderator.
We're adults, no need for "hey guys, don't insult each other or you'll be banned" like in gamer forums.

I don't mean to sound like some guy from the military, but discipline can never be taken for granted. This forum must maintain its consistency by all means possible.

but what about healthcare for all the members of this forum? what would you do about that? :lol:

Ermz has already been a moderator, I'm sure he doesn't want to do it again. Lasse doesn't have enough time to deal with our shit.

We're fine as is - we don't need another mod. That thread got you all up in a hissy over a fucking cycle... shit changes. Get over it. Stop being that old bastard clinging onto his vinyl for dear life - embrace the change and learn to deal with it or leave the forum while your memory of it is still good.
